According to this LA Times article, NumbersUSA will be releasing TV spots soon:
Conservative anger at the Senate immigration bill is at such a pitch that even Republican lawmakers are feeling the heat. Groups like NumbersUSA have been channeling that grass-roots fury and, in doing so, have leaped in size and are playing a larger role in the immigration debate than ever before.
At NumbersUSA, one of the largest and loudest, membership is up 81% since January and donations are soaring. With the immigration bill possibly set to pass or fail in the Senate this week ? a crucial vote could come as early as Tuesday ? the nonprofit group plans a fierce campaign against the bill and any senator who supports it.
The group will unveil TV ads against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-N.C.). Another ad will target Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.).
Sen. Graham says he doesn’t worry about challengers for seat
Obviously, no politician is going to admit that their election chances are dwindling, but he refuses to so much as admit that the huge outpouring against S. 1639 is even worth his consideration.
We’ll be writing up some suggested strategery in the coming weeks on ways to weaken Graham’s hold on office, as well as pushing to convince a qualified person to take him on in the GOP primary. But we have only a few days before a vote on cloture (currently scheduled for Tuesday, Jun 26) and what can we do now?
Begin to focus on Graham’s support here in SC! Ask them to publicly voice opposition to the immigration bill and condemn Graham’s support of it. This helps put pressure on local politicians to distance themselves from this radioactive amnesty issue and in effect, Graham. So call up your local GOP County Chair (good example from a few days back). Contact info here.
And also, how about our Speaker of the SC House, Bobby Harrell (a McCain campaign co-chair in SC)?
And then there is Mark Sanford, the very popular Governor of the fine state of South Carolina. Heck, Lindsey is the godparent of his kids. Recently, there were reports of Sanford assuring LIndsey that he won’t run against him in ‘08.
We need to request that these folks who have been supporting Graham ask him to come back to the fold and support the will of the people. And if he can’t do that, they should be asking him to step down.

Graham’s approval rating has sunk to 31 percent and he has a 40 percent disapproval rating, according to a poll released Friday by Atlanta-based InsiderAdvantage. The new poll points to Graham’s support for the Senate immigration bill, which includes a path to citizenship, as a likely reason for his apparent unpopularity.
His disapproval among Republicans is higher — 46 percent — than among Democrats —30 percent. Both give him an approval rating in the low 30s.
But Sen Graham doesn’t govern by polls….in other words, "Forget the will of the people, I’m gonna push this bill to the gates of…"
Meanwhile, two of amnesty’s biggest GOP supporters will watch their Whitehouse aspirations go up in smoke and hopefully, their government careers as well.

And remember, if it’s all about the symbolism, then it’s not enough for Lott and fellow Republicans like Lindsey Graham to push the semi-amnesty bill through. They have to push the bill through loudly, histrionically, while denouncing the opposition as anti-Latino–to make sure Hispanics know that the GOPs were their champions in 2007.

A lot of people have called to say they will vote against our member if he votes in favor of the immigration bill. Then….when we tell them he isn’t up for reelection until 2012….they are confused at first and then pissed. It makes me smile…

Here’s a list of key Senate contacts to email regarding immigration. Send email directly to staff - not just the generic Senator’s mailbox. Contact their Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, and Press Secretary. Make your voice heard!!

We are still in the process of building the site up and should have a lot more content in the coming week. The site will focus on putting Lindsey Graham out of office and fighting illegal immigration.
